My name is Brianna(Bri) Cochran. I am from a small town in WV called Bluefield. Some of my hobbies include handcrafting, baking, reading, puzzling, painting, and video games. I am an animal lover by heart. I received my bachelor's of Computer Science and bachelor's of Comprehensive Mathematics in the year 2020 from Concord University. Afterwards, I studied for a Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant. My research focused primarily on Human-Computer Interaction in VR/AR for accessibility. I was involved in publishing 2 papers of which I was the 2nd author. The papers were accepted to highly respected conferences such as CHI and Assets. After 3 years and considerable contemplation, I decided to get my Master's in Computer Science instead of a Ph.d. and graduated in 2023. You can out more about my publications, past projects, and resume details in other sections.
